Is SocialSave Hub free to use? ▾
Yes, completely free. No account, no payment, no hidden charges.
Do I need to install an app or browser extension? ▾
No. SocialSave Hub is a web-based tool — open your browser, paste the URL, and download. No software required on any device.
Can I download private posts? ▾
No. Only public content can be downloaded. Private accounts, friends-only Facebook posts, and protected Twitter accounts are not supported.
Why doesn't it work sometimes? ▾
Instagram, Facebook, and X change their internal APIs frequently. Extraction may fail temporarily until we update. Also ensure the content is public and the URL is correct.
Does SocialSave Hub store downloaded videos? ▾
No. We never upload or store any media. Your browser downloads the file directly from the platform's CDN. We only cache extracted URLs for 30 minutes to speed up repeat requests.
What formats are supported? ▾
Videos download as MP4. Images download as JPG or PNG depending on the platform. GIFs from Twitter are provided as MP4 (how Twitter stores them internally).
How many downloads can I do per day? ▾
There are no daily download limits. Save as many videos and reels as you want for free.
Where are downloaded files saved on my device? ▾
Downloaded files are saved to your device's Downloads folder or your browser's default download directory.
Is it legal to download social media videos? ▾
Downloading public content for personal use is generally tolerated, but you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to download any content. Do not re-upload or monetise content you do not own. See our Terms of Service.
